If your family is anything like mine, you have quite a DVD collection (at least half of ours are Disney, by the way). It’s always great to have choices, especially since Netflix tends to drop some of our favorite titles pretty frequently. The trouble is, those DVDs can take up a ton of space on your shelf or entertainment center. Here are a few ways to store them with less trouble.
Why aren’t we all doing this? If you’re not super picky about keeping all those cases, why not store your DVDs in binders? Just think of how many more you could store in a much smaller space. Get as many binders as you think you’ll need. You can even get different colors for different kinds of movies, and label them on the spine. Alphabetize, use dividers, create a table of contents, whatever you want to make them easy to find. A 1 1/2 inch binder can hold up to 120 DVDs! If you want to go the easy route, buy a prepared CD binder…they’ll work just as well for DVDs.
