When we think about spring cleaning, most of us would naturally think of things like our kitchen, bathroom, floors, even the garage. But your bedroom probably needs the attention just as much as those other places. After all, you spend (hopefully) at least 8 hours a day in there. If you aren’t sure what else to do other than vacuum, here is a checklist for spring cleaning your bedroom.
1. Wash What You Can
You can’t throw your mattress into the washing machine, but you can strip the bed of all quilts and blankets, duvets, mattress protectors, pillows, etc. Take everything off and wash it. To keep feather pillows or comforters from clumping, grab 2 new tennis balls and stick them in a couple of clean socks and tie them up. Put them in the dryer with your bedding.
