If you have a surge protector with a bunch of cords, then try this to make it look better. Put the surge protector in a shoe box (which you can decorate) and then cut little holes for the holes to stick through.
If you hate seeing your phone charging out in the open, then get a cute little book box that you can hide it in. Just cut a little notch for the cord and an opening for the phone and you’re good to go!
Another way you can use a book to hide something ugly is by using it for a router cover! You just get the cover of the book and stick the router right in and that’s all!
If you have a printer that just sits on the floor, try putting it in the bottom drawer of a desk or dresser. Cut a hole in the back of the desk to fit the cord through and the printer should be able to sit there without any issues.
For some reason, I have this pet peeve about seeing curtain rods. A great fix for this is to make (or buy) a window cornice that you can fit around the rod. It looks classy and hide the rod!
Hide away your thermostat or any other ugly wall device with a picture! Just hang it over the spot and that’s about it! You could even make a hinged picture frame if that would work better.
If you hate seeing your fridge all plain and boring in your kitchen, then change it! You can wallpaper your fridge or turn it into an awesome chalkboard. Whatever you want!
Keep your laundry baskets or hampers hidden with a nice dresser or drawer system. If the drawers are deep and wide enough, you can store the baskets in them!
Get the cords under your desk in control by using a wire basket. Simply put the surge protector into the basket right underneath the desk and then attach the wires to the sides of the desk.
This is such a cute and fun idea! To get the wiring on the floor under control, use this mini fence to keep all the cords neat and organized!

Routers can overheat- not a great idea to cover one. Some great ideas here though
