If you don’t already, you should organize clutter with baskets. Baskets have such an appeal! They are warm, rustic and come in almost any size, shape and color you could ever want. That’s all the reason you need to get inspired to start decluttering with baskets! Let me show you some ideas!
Baskets can be used to organize clutter anywhere in your home. All you need to do is take a walk through the rooms where you could probably declutter, and assess what colors and sizes of baskets would work best for each space. Here’s an example of a beautiful neutral colored basket used to organize spare towels in a bathroom. Personally, I’d probably never use those towels unless it was an emergency, because they look too pretty to move!
Toy storage is another way to organize clutter with baskets. If toys don’t tend to cause a huge amount of clutter, then I don’t know what else does! Again, decide what toys you want to store in baskets, and find shapes and sizes that will work. A collection of stuffed animals just looks so cute on a shelf in your child’s bedroom or toy room. Having a designated space for toys is also a great way to help your kids remember to put away their toys after they’re done playing with them!
Another great spot for basket organization is in the kitchen. These baskets look stylish organizing extra cooking tools and utensils on an open cart. The utensil basket is especially handy, because you can easily grab it and carry it to where the utensils are needed.
You can also organize pantry clutter with baskets. Baskets are perfect to hold a variety of small items like jars, snack packs, or juice boxes. You can also organize your pantry baskets by use. For example, organize a baking basket with the dry essentials you need for baking bread, cakes or cookies. When you decide to bake, just grab the entire basket and take it to your work area. Less trips to the pantry!
Put some of these solutions to work and organize clutter with baskets! Do you have any basket organization tips you swear by?
