20 Beautiful Ways to Organize Your Kitchen

20 Beautiful Ways to Organize Your Kitchen (1)

20 Beautiful Ways to Organize Your Kitchen

  • If you’re trying to maximize storage space without creating countertop clutter, then try this. Attach rods to the backsplash in your kitchen and then hang baskets! It looks great and adds tons of space.
  • Use a magnet strip to store your knives. Make sure it’s secure so it’s safe, but this is great because it keeps the knives in better condition, too.
  • Use baskets in the pantry to keep all your foods divided: snacks, dinner items, etc. Use wicker, wire, or whatever you like.
  • If you don’t like the idea of baskets, then use clear canisters. These are helpful because they cut down on wasted space from store boxes and you can easily see what’s in each canister.
  • Use magnetized jars to add storage space in your kitchen where there normally isn’t any. By putting a magnet strip under the cabinets and putting magnets on jar lids, you can store your spices or any other kitchen supplies underneath it!

20 Beautiful Ways to Organize Your Kitchen2

  • Take an old window shutter and turn it into a kitchen organizer! You can paint the shutter to match your kitchen and then hang kitchen supplies form it!
  • You can also, if your ceiling is high enough, use a rack to store your pots, pans, and other such items. This is great because it adds a bunch of storage and can make your kitchen look more rustic.
  • Use tension rods in your cupboards to help things stay in place and organized. Put them between lids, baking sheets, or anything else that likes to move around.
  • Make a fantastic command center in the kitchen that everyone in the family can use. Have a family calendar, meal schedule, place to pin notes and put paperwork, etc.
  • I think this is such a cute idea! Use scrabble tiles to spell out what goes in each cabinet! Spell things out like “griddle” or “ice cream maker” to stay organized even when you’re not the one putting things back!

20 Beautiful Ways to Organize Your Kitchen3

  • I never thought of this before, but it’s genius. For your extra long and awkward utensils, store them diagonally in your drawers! It’s longer than just straight and even looks pretty cool!
  • For your fridge, have an “eat me first” basket that has all the food that will go bad soon. Tell your family (and friends) that that’s fair game and should be eaten as soon as possible.
  • Label everything in your kitchen, fridge, and pantry. It makes it so much easier to get and stay organized, plus the labels make your home look fancy!
  • Use magazine holders to organize your cans. Simply put them into the magazine holder and keep it stocked so you can easily access them without knocking all the other cans over.
  • You can also use a magazine holder to store all of your foils and wraps. Just attach it to the inside of a cabinet or pantry door and put your aluminum foil, saran wrap, etc.

20 Beautiful Ways to Organize Your Kitchen4

  • Pegboard actually looks great in a kitchen and helps you get everything organized! Put it anywhere in the kitchen where there’s space and where you’d use it.
  • Use a lazy susan in the pantry and maybe even in a cabinet or two. This just makes things so much easier to access because you don’t knock a bunch of stuff over when trying to find something.
  • If you have a walk-in pantry, then get a wheeled cart. It adds to your storage space and can be moved around so it’s never in the way!
  • Store your cupcake liners in a Mason jar. Not only does this look nice, but it keeps dust and other yucky stuff from settling on the liners when they’re not being used.
  • You can also use a Mason jar to store all sorts of other kitchen utensils. You can keep them separate or attach the jars to some decorated wood for wall mounted storage!
