If you don’t have a command center in your home, you are missing out on some awesome organization! These command center ideas help you keep track of important documents, dates, items, and so much more.
Command Center Ideas
If you don’t have much floor space, then a hanging command center could be just the thing for you. Put all the file folders, calendar, whiteboard, etc., on the wall and then, with whatever space you have below, you can put a bookshelf or something similar.
You can also put your whole command center on one board so that, if you need to move it, it’s super easy! You obviously can’t get a TON of stuff on the one board (or else it would be super heavy), but this is a great idea for a simplified command center.
If you’re always forgetting things when you’re running out the door, then you need this drop off command center. Just put things on it then you need to grab so that, when you’re running out the door, they’re all right there!
A super easy way to get things organized is by using a folder system to keep things nice and neat. Every person in your family can have a folder so, whether it’s homework or paperwork, you’ll all know exactly where everything is!
I love the idea of using bins in your command center. It not only keeps things SUPER organized, but it also allows for storage of bulkier items that wouldn’t fit in a normal command center.
If your command center is really on for paper, then this is probably a great idea for you. It’s super simple, quick to put up, and doesn’t cost much money at all. Just have a container for whatever category you need.
Go big or go home is a petty great motto to live by, so if that’s you, then make this great all-in-one command center. It has a section for notes, a calendar, paper storage, etc. It’s all you need (and more) to get organized.
A great looking and super helpful command center is this panel design. Each panel has its own purpose, and it’s really easy to move around the house. I would suggest to stay with 3 panels, but you can do whatever works best.
Command Center Ideas
I love chalkboards, and so a chalkboard command center is a great idea! Not only can you write notes all over it, but your kids can color on it, too, and it won’t ruin the walls.
Speaking of walls, you could always try this large command center that will take up the majority of a wall. It’s got tons of useful features, so it’s definitely a great idea.
If you want to add some color to your home, then make a colorful command center! You can make the calendar, folders, and even border of the command center a bright and fun color so it brightens up your home.
Don’t just let the dead space in your home go to waste. In those spots that are too small or awkward to hang pictures and decorations, use it as a command center. It’s a great idea and uses space efficiently.
You could also try making a commander center in the corner of any room. Often, this is the laundry room, but it can be anywhere in your house that you think it would fit best.
Just because it’s practical, doesn’t mean your command center has to be dull and boring. Add some organization and appeal by making a rustic themed command center!
I really like the idea of making your command center a desk also. It lets you keep things neat and organized but, if you need to take a few minutes to write a note or something, then you can sit down and get it down in comfort!
I hope these command center ideas help you feel more organized! Before you leave, check out my post on 10 entryway organization ideas.
