A valet hanger is actually super helpful, especially if you like picking your clothes out the night before but don’t’ have anywhere to put them. Just get a pull-out valet hanger that can be stored away during the day but put to use at night.
Use magazine racks or similar items to make back of the door storage for your closet. This gives you tons of more space to keep things like socks, ties, hats, etc.
Make or buy a wire hanger rack for your shoes. This keeps them off the floor and makes them so much more accessible! Plus, you can see all your shoes at once so you know which is the best for your outfit.

Storing jewelry can be a nightmare, especially without much space. Take a tension rod and hang it up between the walls of your closet. Attach S hooks and then hang necklaces from them.
Buying boot jacks can be expensive and time consuming (you have to find the right height, fit, etc.). Instead, just take pool noodles, cut them down to the size you want, decorate them (if desired), and use those to keep your boots in great condition.
It’s always great to have some sort of bin or cubby system for your closet. It keeps non-clothing items super organized and allows you to utilize as much of the space as possible.
Get a cooling rack and attach it to the side of your closet. Then, from the cooling rack, you can hang all of your earrings! It’s such a simple solution to an annoying problem. All of your earrings will be in one spot.
If you have lots of ties, get an electric tie holder. Not only can it store tons of your ties, but it also rotates through them effortlessly so you don’t knock them all to the ground when getting dressed.
For oddly-shaped things like a yoga mat, get an umbrella stand or something similar to store them in. It can be placed at the bottom of the closet in the corner so it’s out of the way, but still allow you to access it.
