No matter what size your sink cabinet is, you need to maximize the space available. The best way to do this is with pull out bins for trash, or stacking shelves for dish soap and other cleaning solutions. Pull out bins are genius to organize sponges, scrub brushes, and scouring pads when you aren’t using them. Here are a few other ideas:

  • Organizing sponges can be as simple of stashing a large dollar store mug under the sink to hold them.
  • Be sure and use the back of the cabinet doors to hang towels. Or mount a spice rack to the back of the door to hold a variety of small items that would otherwise just get lost.
  • A lazy Susan is a cheap storage organizer for under the kitchen sink. Load it up with your cleaning supplies, then just turn it as needed to access what you want.

Once you organize under the sink, you’ll be amazed how much better you feel just looking at it! Now how about tackling the medicine cabinet?
