Is there anything worse than having a messy, unorganized kitchen? I don’t think so! These kitchen organization hacks will transform your kitchen to the best room in the house.
Kitchen Organization Hacks
One of the best ways to get your pantry organized is by using clear containers. Not only does this free up space (because store boxes are usually big and bulky) but it also makes it easier to see what’s in each container because it’s clear. Use labels for even more organization!
Another great organizational idea for the kitchen is to use labels. Use them on your clear containers, use them in the fridge, in the pantry, and literally everywhere else. Nothing gets lost when everything has a place!
Get a tiered tray to add some storage space to your countertop without completely cluttering the area. You can get a double or triple tier to help keep things organized, and it adds even more vertical storage space.
Take a tension rod and put it underneath your kitchen. This helps give you more space to store your cleaning supplies—you can hang bottles from the rod, and use the space below for larger cleaning tools.
Another way to tackle under the sink clutter is to add a container system. Use plastic baskets, old tupperware, and small drawers to keep on top of any and all supplies.
Attach hooks to the side of your cupboards, or on the side of a wall. The hooks will make them easily accessible, and it will free up valuable cabinet space.
I’ve seen this idea all over Pinterest, and I’ve got to say, it’s one of my favorite DIYs of the year! Take an old window shutter, customize it according to your kitchen decor, and then use it as a storage device. You can put hooks or pegboards on the shutter to make it more usable. You could even add a magnet to store your kitchen knives.
A nice wooden tray helps to control counter clutter by containing your mess to one area! Use containers to organize spoons, spatulas, and more. You can always add handles to the sides of the tray for easy transportation around your kitchen and dining room.
Use a magazine rack to completely change the way you organize your pots and pan lids. Slide the lids onto each section, and keep your pans organized below!
A wire rack makes it crazy easy to store cutting boards. Install it on the inside of a cabinet door and slip your cutting boards inside.
