With a few teenagers in our home, the kitchen pantry is constantly being raided. When I try to find something, it’s almost as difficult as finding a needle in a haystack. Ever felt that way? I’m hoping I am not the only one who has had this issue. Here’s what I did to solve it.
Kitchen Pantry Organization Ideas
When organizing the pantry, I highly suggest using clear containers and canisters. It makes it so much easier when you’re looking for what you need; this way, you don’t have to rile through everything to find what you’re looking for. Plus, it’s easy to tell when you need to go grocery shopping!
Use labels in your pantry to keep things so much easier and organized. Label both the containers you use and the spots on the shelves where they belong. Nothing is out of place when everything has a place!
To really optimize your storage potential, storage bins are a necessity! You can put food that goes together or different types of food (for example, a bin for lunch supplies that your kids can choose from).
If you have a bigger pantry, then a great way to add some storage space is to get a little cart. You can store things on it and then also move it around so you can use other storage spaces in the pantry.

Get a whiteboard or chalkboard or something else that you can hang on your pantry so that you can keep track of your grocery list and other supplies you need to buy.
Attach hooks to the inside walls of your pantry or the back of the pantry door so you can have some more room to hang items.
A corkboard is really helpful and handy when it comes to your pantry because it allows you to tack up lists, write down chores, or store other small items you don’t want to forget about.
Store your foils and wraps with a magazine holder. Just slip the boxes in the holder!
Install a metal square and use it to store some magnetized containers with spices in them. It’s actually really handy and makes access a lot easier!
Put an over the door organizer in your pantry to add some more storage space. This is great for small things that you often need quick access to like cooking oil or spices.
Adjusting shelving is a really good idea for your pantry because you never know what you might end up storing there. This way, if you get a bulk order of something, you can adjust the shelves so that it fits better.
