- Use an old window shutter to make a mail organizer for your office! Just paint the shutter and fit the mail between the slats of the shutter!
- Add magazine holders to the bottom of your shelves for some extended shelf storage. It looks great and adds tons of extra space for you to use!
- Get a desk drawer organizer to keep all your small things in order in your drawers! You can use little baskets, cubbies, or whatever works best.
- Install a command center above your desk so that you can have everything you need within grasp. Keep your calendar, message board, and other items right there.
- Use jars to keep and organize all your office supplies. Store them on your desk or on a shelf and it will look great.
- Keep your printer in your office but keep it hidden so that it doesn’t look ugly and bulky! Just stick it in your drawer and only pull it out when you need it!
- Add floating shelves to your walls to add extra storage space without all the bulky hardware! You can put as many up as you need, just don’t make it look too cluttered.
- Install a cubby system in your office that you can use to keep all your files and supplies super organized! It can be just a small one or a whole wall system.
- If you’re buying new office furniture, but a desk that has legs that have storage in them! That way you can keep things nearby without your drawers being overpacked.
- Attach binder clips to the side of your desk to keep your wires and cords in place. It’s a great idea and super easy to implement.
- Use a picture frame as a storage device for your office supplies. Add pegboard or something else to the inside of the frame and hang up your supplies.
- Figure out a filing system that works for you and then stick to it! Lots of people just put paper wherever they want, but that doesn’t work. You need a system.
- Put your surge protector in a shoe box to keep it looking nicer and more organized. Cut little holes in it for your cords to stick out of without seeing the whole device!
- Attach a wire basket underneath the bottom of your desk to hold all the wires from your computer and other electronics. Instead of all the wires being on the ground, this keeps them organized and more safe.
- Keep a whiteboard near your desk or door so that you can write down important notes to yourself and others. White boards are great because they’re easy to use and don’t cost much.
- Cut out the pockets of some of your old jeans and turn them into a supply organizer! This is so cute and looks absolutely fantastic!
- Install pegboard somewhere in your office! Pegboard is great at keeping things organized, and you can even add little hooks and baskets for more organization!
- Get a storage ottoman that you can use specifically for your files and other paperwork! Not only is it a cute addition to your office, but it’s also practical!
- Get a wall-mounted calendar that you can keep up in your office. This is great because, no matter where you are, you can just look up at see your schedule!
- Get a desk organizer to keep the top of your desk looking pristine and organized. There are a few different types and styles, so choose one that works best for you!
