30 Brilliant Bathroom Storage DIYs

  • Storage above the door is a great idea because it doesn’t take up any space that you were previously using and it stores things without getting in the way.
  • If you have young kids, then getting toys in and out of the bathtub can be a nightmare. Make it much easier by installing a curtain rod and attaching baskets to it on the wall of the tub. Now, all the toys can go in the baskets and be out of the way when necessary.
  • You can also do the rod and basket idea for on the wall outside the tub. Use it to store bathroom supplies, towels, etc.
  • Mason jars are really nice in the bathroom because they can hold small things like cotton swabs and also big things like your comb. Attach them to a board or just keep them loose; whatever you want.
  • If you use your shower caddy to store your razors, you know how frustrating it can be when they fall through the cracks. Attach small pieces of PVC pipe to the side of the caddy to hold your razors!

  • It’s nice to utilize storage space beneath the sink, but some sinks don’t have cupboards. An easy fix is to just make a sink skirt so you can store things below it and hide them away!
  • Use all the space behind your toilet against the wall to store things. You can actually get a whole storage set specifically designed for behind the toilet, and it’s super efficient!
  • Apothecary jars aren’t just a great way to get storage in your bathroom, they also look amazing! The jars can go on the counter, shelves, or anywhere there’s space.
  • Add a wicker basket to your bathroom to store your towels and other linens. I love the look the wicker has with the towels!
  • You can also add baskets to the walls for extra storage space without taking up floor space! Put the baskets right side up or you can put them sideways, whatever works and looks best.

  • Get or make a tall <a href=”http://www cialis generic pharmacie.woohome.com/diy-2/30-brilliant-diy-bathroom-storage-ideas”>towel rack that lets you store all your family’s towels and more in a small spot. This simply extends up with slots for each of the rolled up towels. So easy!
  • Attach a PVC holster to the inside of your cabinets to hold things like a straightener and curling iron. It’s out of the way and really easy to reach.
  • Get a wire basket assembly that fits snugly around the tank of your towel and has places for reading material, extra toilet paper, and a few other add-ons.
  • Floating shelves in the bathroom are nice because they don’t take up as much space as traditional shelving and look really good in small spaces.
  • If you have the space, then get a ladder to add some extra storage to your bathroom. Hang towels over the rungs or store lotions and creams on the steps.

  • Wooden crates are a great addition to any bathroom. You can even paint them to add a bit of color and personality to the bathroom.
  • For bigger bathrooms, buy a bathroom armoire that you can use to store all your supplies! If there’s space, you can even add decorations to the shelves of the armoire.
  • To save on space, get a towel holder/shelve combo. The top part is a normal shelf with a handle attached to the bottom to store your towels.
  • Get a slide out bathroom storage that fits right underneath your sink. It’s a wire basket that’s on rollers so you can pull it out to easily access your bathroom supplies.
  • Add some small plastic containers to the inside of your medicine cabinet. You’ll need to make sure they’re small enough to still be able to close the mirror, though.

  • Use a picture frame to store all your makeup! Not only does this look good, but it keeps your makeup easily accessible without covering the counter.
  • Install a magnet strip on the wall to store your bobby pins! You can also use this to store nail clippers and other small metallic items.
  • Get an over-the-door storage device that you can use to keep all your items organized. You can store anything from a blow dryer to makeup brushes in it!
  • Install a full length mirror that doubles as a large medicine cabinet! It’s great because all bathrooms need more storage and a mirror—win-win!
  • If you don’t have the space for a full-length mirror, then install storage compartments around the edges of your mirror. They easily slide in and out so they’re not noticeable at all!

  • Use a piece of wood and terracotta pots to get a nice storage device that looks great! Slide the terracotta pots into circular holes in the board and you’re good!
  • A pull out towel rack is great for small bathrooms. When not in use, it easily folds back against the wall, saving you tons of space!
  • Get a mesh hanging basket and hang it from your bathroom ceiling. Put as much as you can in the pockets without making it break or snap.
  • Install toothbrush holders on the side of the wall by the sink. They’re just little clips that hold your toothbrushes so they never touch and stay cleaner.
  • Utilize all the space in your bathroom, including the corners. Get wedge shaped shelves that can easily fit in the corners, letting you use as much space as possible!
