- Start by emptying the drawer of its contents. This means everything in the drawer comes out. If we’re talking about a dresser drawer, just dump the clothes on your bed. If necessary, wipe the drawer out so its clean and ready for organizing.
- Sort through the contents of the drawer. Decide what to toss, what to give away, and what to keep. If there’s anything in there that shouldn’t be, transfer it to its designated spot in the house.
- Once you’re left with the things you’re keeping, decide how you want to organize them. An easy way to do this is by categorizing the contents of the drawer. Group like things together.
